2007 Pride of Australia Award - Role Model Award

Cynthia Morton, CEO and Founder of Emotional Fitness, wins the 2007 Pride of Australia Medal for the category of Role Model today.

The annual Pride of Australia Medal program is about recognising the countless people who embody Australian values such as bravery, compassion and give selflessly to their fellow Australians with little or no recognition.

 

2006 Prime Minister's Award of Excellence

Cynthia Morton won this award for Outstanding Contribution in Drug and Alcohol Endeavours

 

2005 Australian of the Year

Cynthia Morton won Local Hero Category in Queensland in recognition for her creation of the Emotional Fitness Program.

 

2004 Award of Distinction from Australian Medical Assoc.

Cynthia Morton won this award in recognition from AMA (Qld Branch) of the longstanding interest and support for the high ideals of the medical profession and service to humanity.

 

2003 Volunteer of the Year Child Protection Committee

Cynthia Morton (E.F.F CEO) won this award in recognition of an outstanding contribution to the prevention of Child Harm.

 

2002 National First Prize Documentary

"Emotional Fitness" the 22 minute documentary based on the first pilot of this work claimed first prize at Ausfest, the national award ceremony for Australian film and documentary makers.
